About us
An international organization created in 2022 by Lucas Foster, and founded in 2024 alongside Edna dos Santos-Duisenberg, to bring together social and business leaders, academics, civil society, and other parties interested in using creativity and innovation as a tool to solve global challenges, in addition to proposing solutions and promoting international cooperation.
The World Organization for Creativity seeks to promote collaboration between the public and private sectors to face global challenges related to sustainable development and social transformation, thus improving the state of the world.
"We want to promote global collaboration, driving innovation and creativity, establishing standards and best practices, and forming the next generation of creative leaders."
Programs and initiatives
World Creativity Day + Creative Leadership Program ®
World Creativity Day trains creative leaders to coordinate events in their regions, using a methodology that combines creativity, entrepreneurship and social transformation.
For us, the more widespread the creative leadership skill and the more qualified individuals are as creative leaders, the better results will exist in all areas in which a creative leader can act.
World Creativity Festival
World Creativity Day has evolved into a global festival spanning several days and cities around the world. While WCD takes place in April, the World Creativity Festival takes place in September, uniting the entire community involved with the World Organization of Creativity.
In 2024, the festival was held in the city of São Paulo in three spaces relevant to the city: Centro Brasileiro Britânico, Green Sampa and Casa Natura Musical.
Creative Brazil Award
The Creative Brazil Award, an initiative of the World Organization for Creativity, celebrates and recognizes creativity in Brazil every two years since 2014. This award highlights innovation projects that drive social and economic development throughout the nation in 15 categories.
In 2024, a decade of this initiative was celebrated, which brought to the stage stories that tell the power of the creative economy and through impactful initiatives. The award not only shows the brilliance of Brazilian talent, but also emphasizes the importance of creativity as a catalyst for positive change in society. In addition to the award, a documentary is made that is going to its third edition, telling the trajectory of the victorious projects of this journey.
